In 2005, after completing his studies in Medicine and his specialty training, he became a member of Prof. K. Konstantinides’ surgical team at the Athens Medical Center, participating in innovative robotic and laparoscopic operations.

- The first Greek surgeon trained in ultrasound assisted transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization (THD) in Italy (Mini-Invasive Surgery for the treatment of hemorrhoids, Rome, July 2008)
- Since 2014, he has been an instructor for this technique for Southeast Europe
