The Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) Corporate Social Responsibility program, «Pantou», carried out its latest medical mission to the island of Lemnos on 20 and 21 June 2026, attracting a strong response from the local community.
The initiative was hosted at the 2nd Primary School of Myrina and was coordinated by HYGEIA Hospital. The mission brought together 28 physicians representing 20 medical specialties from HYGEIA Hospital, Metropolitan Hospital and Metropolitan General, supported by 32 volunteer nursing, technical and administrative staff members.
Throughout the two-day mission, residents were offered free medical consultations, while a wide range of diagnostic services was also provided, including haematological and biochemical tests, ultrasound examinations, electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, Pap tests, gynaecological ultrasounds and spirometry tests.
To date, the Group has completed 35 voluntary medical outreach missions, providing care to 15,509 residents and performing 56,255 medical and diagnostic examinations across the following regions: Lipsi-Agathonisi, Achilleio-Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechaina-Varda, Papades-Agia Anna (Evia), Gravia-Delphi, Rovies-Mantoudi (Evia), Dimitsana (Arcadia), Ypati-Pavliani, Konitsa, Kea, Agios Dimitrios-Pothi (Evia), Stymfalia-Feneos (Mountainous Corinthia), Stropones-Metochi (Evia), Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavryta, Kalambaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea (Agrafa), Kasos, Astypalaia, Sifnos, Vonitsa, Farkadona (Thessaly), Krestena (Elis), Milos, Meganisi, Neapoli Voion and Lemnos. In parallel, HHG supports local Health Centres by donating medical equipment, as well as pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
The «Pantou» program aims to reach every corner of Greece, expanding its presence to even more remote areas and offering access to high-quality medical care to as many people as possible.
