Dr. Ioanna Gazouli is a Medical Oncologist with a robust academic and clinical background. She graduated with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master’s degree in Cancer Therapeutics from Queen Mary University of London.
In 2025, she was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Ioannina, with a thesis titled "Induction of immunogenic cell death by targeted and cytotoxic anticancer agents and study of related biomarkers in vivo in patients", receiving the grade "Excellent". Her clinical training includes a residency in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Athens “Korgialenio-Benakeio Hellenic Red Cross” (2016–2019), training in Hematology at Evangelismos Hospital (2018), and a residency in Medical Oncology at the University Hospital of Ioannina (2019–2022).
Since September 2022, she has been working as an Attending Physician at the 1st Oncology Clinic of Metropolitan Hospital, in Piraeus. Dr. Ioanna Gazouli actively participates as a sub-investigator in international clinical trials and has published scientific articles in reputable medical journals, confirming her ongoing contribution to the scientific and academic community of Oncology.
