In 2005, after completing his studies in Medicine and his specialty training, he became a member of Prof. K. Konstantinides’ surgical team at the Athens Medical Center, participating in innovative robotic and laparoscopic operations.

• Trained in robotic surgery in France (Da Vinci Surgical System Off-Site Training Program for a Surgeon Console, May 2008)
• Trained in minimal access surgery / natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) in France (January 2008)
• The first Greek surgeon trained in ultrasound assisted transanal hemorrhoidal dearterialization (THD) in Italy (Mini-Invasive Surgery for the treatment of hemorrhoids, Rome, July 2008)
• Since 2014, he has been an instructor for this technique for Southeast Europe
• Trained in the endoscopic treatment of fistulas (Hands-on Training in Minimally Invasive Perianal Surgery International Advanced Course organized in Strasbourg on November 12, 2014)
