Hygiene & Safety rules
To protect patients, staff, and visitors:
- Do not visit the hospital if you have symptoms such as cough, fever, or a cold.
- Wash and sanitize your hands before and after your visit.
- Avoid contact with medical equipment or the patient’s personal belongings.
- The use of a face mask or other infection prevention measures may be mandatory.
Special instructions for entering the ICU or other sensitive units
Please ring the bell and wait for instructions from the staff. Before entering the ICU, all visitors are required to wear the provided disposable gowns and use hand sanitizer (available at the entrance). Use the alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after your visit, located in the ICU area.
Instructions for the patient’s relatives
Loved ones play an important role in the healing process and a patient’s quick recovery, which is why we encourage family and friends to visit.
Please pay close attention to the number of visitors (no more than one visitor at a time per patient is allowed in the room) for health and safety reasons, and we kindly ask that visits be kept short. Overnight stays by one companion in the patient’s room are allowed following prior arrangement.
Children under the age of 14 are not permitted in patient rooms, to ensure a calm environment and reduce the risk of infection.
If you wish to limit the number of visits or phone calls, please inform the Head Nurse or Floor Reception. Peace and quiet are essential to a patient’s recovery. We kindly ask that your visitors respect the tranquility of nearby patients, especially during rest hours.
Visitors must observe silence and avoid disturbing neighboring patients, especially in shared rooms.
During medical rounds, procedures, protective measures, or rest time, the presence of visitors or companions in the room is not allowed. They may wait in the lounge area of the nursing floor.
Please ask your loved ones not to visit if they have a cold or any contagious illness.
Medical information and updates about a patient’s condition are only provided by the attending physicians and only with the patient’s consent.
