PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Corps Officers Military Academy, Medical Department (1983). Retired Colonel since 2006.
- Served as a General Physician and Assistant Physician of General Medicine at the 401 General Military Hospital for over 18 months in various departments (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Blood Bank, Neurology, ENT, Infectious Diseases) and as a Physician in a Military Recruitment Center for 13 months.
- Served as a Neurologist and Medical Officer/Neurologist at the 106 Military Hospital in Nicosia, Cyprus; also served as a member in the AIDS Cyprus National Commission, as a representative of the National Guard, for 1 year. Served as Director of the same Hospital for 1 year. Served as a Registrar at the Neurology Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital for more than 4.5 years; a Director of the Clinic for 7 years; a member of the Supreme Military Medical Committee (ASYE) for 6 years, as Head of Medical Corps Directorate at the 95th National Guard Higher Command, also covering the Division’s needs as a Neurologist; a Neurologist for the Employees of Bank of Greece Health Fund for 18 years (continues to date); an Associate for various Psychiatric Clinics and Diagnostic Centers; private practice for 20 years; since 2005 to date, a Neurology Director at Metropolitan Hospital. - Educational Work: Trained interns in Neurology, as Director of the Neurology Clinic, 401 General Military Hospital of Athens (1999-2005). Trained junior Medical Corps Officers (Second Lieutenants) through a rotation program. Trained (clinical internship) Athens University 5th year medical students in Neurology. (2003-2004 Academic Year). Organized workshops at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens within the context of the Hospital’s medical training program.
EDUCATION
- Specialty training in Neurology, Specialty Certificate in Neurology in 1991, after 1-year training in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and 3 years training in Neurology at the University Clinic, Aiginition Hospital of Athens.
- 6-month Postgraduate training in Electrophysiology at the University Clinic, Aiginition Hospital of Athens. Attended several conferences, seminars and workshops in Greece and abroad.

- Announcements, publications and articles in the context of the activities of the Neurology Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens and in cooperation with other bodies.
- Member of the Hellenic Society of Neurology and the Hellenic Society of Preventive Medicine and Anti-Aging.
