- 02/1997 to 03/1998: Mandatory rural service, Rural Medical Center, Stipsi, Lesbos Island
- 06/1998-03/1999: 9-month practical training, Internal Medicine Clinic, Thessaloniki Hospital for Infectious Diseases. During this time, she attended a 4-month training seminar on hepatitis and a 5-month training seminar on central nervous system infections. Participated in the clinic's educational program with a lecture on “Medical Diagnosis of Neck Stiffness” and also participated in a workshop on hepatitis C in Athens, October 1998.

- 02/2000-04/2003: Practical training in Neurology, 2nd University Neurological Clinic, AHEPA Hospital. Training included clinical training with active involvement in the follow-up of patients, the hospital's after-hours program and the scientific program, including: Lab practice: 3 months of training at the Electroencephalography Lab, 6 months of training at the Electromyogram Lab.
