1989 - 95: Associate Fellow in 1st Surgical Dept. University Hospital of Alexandroupolis under Prof. K. Manolas. Among my duties were vascular surgery, emergency, outpatient clinics, as well as teaching medical students
1991 - Currently: General Surgery, laparoscopic, robotic surgery, laser appliances in the field of general Surgery Special Interest The whole spectrum of General Surgery (open as well as minimally invasive)
- Endocrine surgery (thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, adrenalectomy)
- Gastrointestinal system (oesophagectomy, gastrectomy, colectomy appendicectomy, bariatric procedures, hiatal hernias)
- HPB (cholecystectomy, hepatectomy, pancreatectomy) · Anorectal surgery (haemorrhoids, analfissures, abscesses, fistulas)
- Abdominal wall surgery (all types of hernia)

Laparoscopic surgery and especially Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci system) is of special interest. Application of the aforementioned methods is all benign and malignant conditions of

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES
- o A.O.R.T.I.C.S. (Angiology Operation Records Through Information Computer)- Design, development and implementation of the electronic program for handling medical data files for the A' Surgical Clinic of the University of Athens, for the archiving and statistical treatment of hospitalized patients in this clinic. This system was the data basis for many dissertations and scientific publications.
- o Designing and developing a trabecular subcutaneous tool with simultaneous placement of a vascular graft. This tool was included in the research program of the University of Athens - A' Surgical Clinic at the expense of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Medical School).

1981: Honorary Title for contributing to teaching students and young doctors as a Fellow in 1st Surgical Dept. of the University of Athens
1983 - 1984: Distinction Greek Vascular Surgery Society for contribution to teaching of young doctors in vascular surgery - 1st Surgical Dept. of the University of Athens
