Dr Kalkinis Antonios - Dimosthenis was born in Athens and studied medicine at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki University where he graduated in 2009 (MD). Doctor of Philosophy Degree was acquired with the General Grade: “Excellent” from the Medical Faculty of the University of Ioannina in 2014 (PhD).
He served in the army for one year as a Medical Doctor at 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital (General Internal Medicine practice). He also served as Community Doctor at Naxos Health Centre (Rural GP).
He has trained partly in Greece and the UK at the ROYAL FREE LONDON HOSPITAL NHS TRUST in London.
Current position
Dr Kalkinis Antonios - Dimosthenis is a consultant nuclear medicine physician with interest in oncological and non-oncological aspects of PET-CT and in haematology and lung cancer applications of PET-CT.
