RESEARCH & SCIENTIFIC WORK / OTHER INTERESTS
- 1998-currently: She teaches Internal Medicine and Pharmacology classes at the Faculty of Health & Caring Professions of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, as an appointed Professor of Internal Medicine at the General Department of Basic Medical Courses.
- 2004-2014: She participates in the Healthcare Management postgraduate program of the University of Piraeus, teaching the subject Human Diseases, with other lecturers.
- Along with Professor Emeritus Mr. Tsochas, she co-authored the book Clinical Pharmacology (Lychnos Publications 2005, Siokis Publications Siokis 2013); she also wrote the chapter “Female Genital System” included in Athens University Professor of Medicine M.I. Chatzigianaki’s book Treatment of Neoplasms (Leukemias, Lymphomas, Solid Tumors).
- Her research activities include participation in clinical studies of tumor treatment plans for several malignancies.
- 18 publications in English in peer-reviewed oncology journals (PubMed), 10 publications in Greek and over 100 citations in international literature.
