The Metropolitan Hospital Pediatric Neurosurgery Department addresses disorders of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). Congenital malformations (spina bifida, hydrocephalus, etc.), which are often diagnosed in the first months of a child’s life, CNS tumors, traumas and central nervous system disorders in general that require surgery can be successfully treated.
The Pediatric Neurosurgery Unit of the Pediatric Department has the appropriate equipment and all the technical means to fully address all neurosurgical disorders, from newborns to adolescents.
